Bespoke Tailoring
For Man and Women
Service Description
Bespoke tailoring is a personalised and highly customised approach to creating clothing items, typically suits and other formal wear. However, our experts are able to offer casual wear options as well. The process involves multiple appointments and stages to ensure that the final product fits the client's preferences, body measurements, and style perfectly. Consultation: The process usually begins with an initial consultation between the client and the tailor. During this meeting, the client discusses their preferences, needs, and the purpose of the clothing item (e.g., business suit, wedding attire). The personal shopper will also take note of the client's style preferences, fabric choices, and any specific design details they have in mind. Measurement: Accurate measurements are crucial for a well-fitting garment. The tailor will take detailed measurements of the client's body, including chest, waist, hips, shoulder width, arm length, and more. These measurements are used as the foundation for creating the pattern and ensuring a precise fit. Pattern Creation: Based on the measurements taken, the tailor creates a unique pattern for the garment. This pattern serves as a blueprint for cutting the fabric and constructing the final piece. The pattern takes into account the client's body shape, posture, and any specific fit preferences. The following stages are typically in store however thanks to our service can be carried out at your home. First Fitting: Using a rough version of the garment called a "basted fitting," This fitting helps the tailor assess the initial fit of the garment and make necessary adjustments. During this stage, the client and tailor can discuss any changes or alterations to the fit, style, or details. Adjustments and Refinements: Based on the feedback from the first fitting, the tailor makes adjustments to the garment's fit and construction. Second Fitting (if needed): Depending on the complexity of the garment and the extent of adjustments needed. Final Fitting: At this point, the garment should fit impeccably, reflecting the client's preferences and body shape accurately. Completion and Delivery: Once everything is perfect, the bespoke garment is ready for delivery to the client. Jewellery Selection: We prioritise your style, even offering custom design options with precious metals, gemstones, and unique elements.
